On June 30, the Coalition to Stop Opioid Overdose issued an urgent call to action encouraging advocates from across the country to contact members of Congress and ask them to:

  • support new funding for opioid misuse and overdose prevention, addiction treatment, and recovery support services; and
  • raise physician patient limits for office-based opioid addiction treatment and permanently allow nurse practitioners and physician assistants to treat patients with addiction medications in the office setting.

Take Action Today.
