On June 15, 2016, 34 members of the Coalition to Stop Opioid Overdose sent a letter to House Opioid Conference Committee members asking that sufficient funding must be included in any negotiated legislation to support opioid prevention, treatment and recovery. The letter also highlighted the five strategies the Coalition believes are necessary for fighting the opioid epidemic and legislation that supports those strategies.
